Integrated Biorefinery Research Facility

NLR's Integrated Biorefinery Research Facility (IBRF) enables researchers and industry partners to develop, test, evaluate, and demonstrate processes and technologies for the production of alternative chemicals, materials, and fuels made from biomass and waste.

Combined with NLR's special-purpose laboratories and pilot plants in NLR’s Field Test Laboratory Building, the IBRF enables partners to access support for every stage of process development, from exploratory process R&D through to pilot-scale process runs.
